Capability and capacity

We operate some of the latest CNC machine tools in the world, as well as conventional machines, in order to manufacture quality equipment in the shortest possible time. Our plant capability enables us to machine items from the smallest to the largest equipment in use in the drilling and production industry today. Following our move to Beacon Park, we have made a significant investment in machine capacity by purchasing

an additional CNC Vertical Turret Lathe Machining Centre and a further CNC Universal Borer Machining Centre. This adds to our existing machine portfolio, including Slant Turn Lathes, Quick Turn Lathes, Manual Milling Machines, Horizontal and Vertical Borers and Welding Plant. We also have a full range of inspection equipment and tools.

Machining centres

The existing machine capacity in this section was doubled back in 2015 to coincide with the move to our new premises, following an investment of over £1.8 million in new machine tools.

Welding Plant

Supporting our machining capabilities, we also have automated welding stations which allow us to provide a range of corrosion resistant claddings to our products. Applying cladding to components, as opposed to producing them in solid alloy, is a popular cost-saving choice for our clients, which allows them to maximise the life of their assets. Our computer controlled furnace ensures that post weld heat treatment of our products is compliant to our third party approved weld procedures.
