Casing & tubing hangers

Casing and tubing hangers from Probe

Casing and tubing hangers are vital wellhead system components that can fit a variety of well environments. In-house machining and design capabilities allow total flexibility when manufacturing these products.

The casing and tubing hangers can be manufactured to the clients’ own designs and specification, or alternatively, product and service line brand, Probe, can use in-house design capabilities and extensive experience to advise on what would be best suited to individual projects.

Casing hangers: These devices lock into the casing head to support and hang the casing string when it is lowered into the well.

Tubing hangers: Installed in the top bowl of the tubing head, the tubing hangers are load-bearing devices which are run through the blowout preventer (BOP). The tubing hangers support the tubing string which is usually situated within the tubing head. The devices are also a means of accessing and manipulating smaller tubing lines which are deployed downhole and extended to the surface by outside tubing strings.
